Joey Negro – Love Hangover (Joey Negro Club Mix)
Of all the producers/DJ’s from the last 20 years I think Joey Negro is one of the best when it comes to incorporate classic disco heritage into his productions. Here he takes on one of the classic disco anthems from the late 70’s and all I can say is that it sounds like it could be an original production. So I can understand that a lot of kids and clubbers today don’t know that a lot of the music they dance to at the clubs actually has been around for a while.

You are so right – it is easy to surprise youngsters by playing ”the original” to some of the hits today! Which is fun in many ways. One is to get them interested in the REAL stuff 🙂
DICK
I remember when a fellow DJ who was a bit younger heard Loletta Holloway’s Love Sensation and his first comment was, ”Hey, they have sampled from Black Box – Ride On Time”. When we told him that it was the other way around he first didn’t believe us but when he finally understood what a blunder he had made he wasn’t that cocky anymore whenever we discussed music. LOL
